Here is my newest super light bike (Koxx Hydroxx) only 8.35kg!

The weight of this bike makes it really wicked for doing tricks, obviously the lighter it is the more air you can get. It's not cheap to get a bike like this but you know that what you are getting is really worth the money. It is, however, an investment, no different to mobile phone deals or a mortgage - it's a defined chunk of your budget, and you get something out of it that will benefit you in the short and long-term. Don't be daunted by the idea of researching your bikes, though - if you're going to be hurling it down roads and round corners (or even off ramps), you're going to want something that's definitely you, so find what you're after, read reviews, and make the choice.
